Unlike a wedding planner who oversees the whole planning process from start to finish, a coordinator focuses on outworking everything on the day once you’ve planned it. We come in towards the end of the planning process and manage the detailed logistics and timings to ensure that your plans are fully realised on the day.
We liaise with the venue and suppliers, make sure people are in the right place at the right time and solve problems behind the scenes to keep the day running smoothly.
As well as on-the-day coordination, RLA offers support throughout the planning process, so our services are ideal for those who want a bit of help and guidance when planning their wedding. It’s a more affordable option than full planning services and is ideal for those with a tighter budget or those who want to keep control of the wedding planning but don’t want to worry about it on the day.

Some venues don’t come with a venue manager, in which case having a wedding coordinator can be incredibly helpful (we’d argue it’s essential!).
If they do, your venue manager will have a lot of other things to think about on the day, including guest management, catering & venue logistics. Their role is to host your wedding but not to look after those smaller details that matter to you.
And sure, you can ask one of your nearest and dearest to do it, but I can confidently say that they won’t enjoy the day in the same way as being free of responsibility. Let them focus on having fun and taking care of you so that you can enjoy making memories together.

I’d love to come! For most weddings, it’s not essential and isn’t included in our standard package.
However, it can be helpful, especially if you’re planning something more unique for your ceremony or if there is something specific you want us to do during the ceremony. Additional fees will apply and will be dependent upon location and duration.

I currently coordinate all weddings myself (as long as I’m not ill!) but for larger/more complex weddings or multiple venues, I may require an additional coordinator in order to ensure that we can provide the same level of service across the day.
If this is necessary, we will let you know as soon as possible so that we can discuss the options with you.

If I’m ill or no longer available for your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, I will do my best to find a trusted replacement for you but if not you will be offered a full refund.
